Thanks for the comment, MCsaba. I fooled with it some more, but it just looked too dark to me. I can't seem to get it any better than this.

Looks you have simialr weather conditions as we in Central-East Europe (its raining very often and cloudy). Interesting texture on the sky (may be possible to bring out more details by increasing contrast?) and the boats are well composed into the image. MCsaba
