Exakta
by Debby D

British Columbia, Canada

I redid this photo of my old Exakta camera. Better light this time. The only pp on this shot is very slight sharpening. I moved the first entry to the Exhibition gallery.

Dad gave me this camera when I was about 15. He told me it was rare and would be a collector's item some day, and now it is. Built in about 1955 - one of the last original Exaktas made in Dresden, Germany. It has a Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 2/58 lens. This was my training camera and went everywhere with me for many years.

Sony DSC-H5

other sizes: small medium original auto

I like this image a lot. I love the shape of the camera and all the detail you were able to include. I see it has a Carl Zeiss lens!!
