8th Place (tie)
Looking Back Through The Needle Notch*
by MCsaba

This beautiful old building belongs to the Katholic University in Leuven, one of the oldest universities in Europe. I made this shot through the needle notch of the "Totem" which is a modern skulpture (?) showing a needle stabbing a huge green beetle. The reflections on the left and right show the opposite sides of the building, which is, except of the tower, quite symmetric.

Wow MCsaba, what a clever idea; I love the results! A beautiful old building photographed in a unique way and a unique entry for the challenge as well. Nice color, nice exposure, and a really great shot!
