This lady appeared in front of me and I was totally unprepared to shoot but had to immediately. I wasn't able to get rid of all the noise, but I love the way she's looking out from behind her veil.

Thanks for the comment, Katherine. I'm pretty certain this is a woman, and although the majority of Emirati women are covered in Dubai, I had never seen a veil quite like this one. I do agree that it might make communication a bit different from what we know in the Western world, but it seems to work for them. Helen

Very interesting capture! How do you know that is a woman - she looks like she might be a man in disguise. I think that I would really not like having to interact with people all covered up like that. You can't see their facial expressions or their body language. I think it would be hard to trust people.
