Cities have many faces, and not every square inch of every city is high-rise or urban sprawl.
This is the most easterly end of the City of St. John's - a little fishing village known as Quidi Vidi Village.
It's at the eastern end of Quidi Vidi Lake - the site of the St. John's Regatta for almost 150 years.
I don't know if this is a residence or not, but it sure looks more elaborate than the average fishing gear storage shack.
