At the middle of the road by Tabrizi

Kuala Lumpur

I use this road everyday to get to the office but the idea of this shot only came last night. I place the camera on the pavement (to avoid camera shake) right at the middle of the road after pre-focus & set the self timer. So, this is the result.

Terima kasih Franky for the comments. I'll try to reshoot it again since I use the route everyday. The tought of the shot only came right when I step on to the middle pavement. Don't have much time to set things before many cars pass through. ALready planning similar shot in many intersection with middle pavement in Kuala Lumpur. Cheers

Tabrizi, great idea! I love this perspective and use to do the same practice myself a few times. On a difficult lighting condition like this I would try out Exposure Bracketing. This allows to overlay the images later very easily (except if there are moving objects) and then adjust the high and low light parts. In fact I think it could help on the lights which somehow give me the perception that the lense is not clean or that the shot is done through a window. IMHO cropping the right and left part towards a more square frame would help, also to focus the view more on the center. Cheers, Frank
