Thanks for looking. The red on my monitor is "right-on." The cam has a built-in flash, which I deliberately set to flash. The shadows are the necessary evil, but the shine looked better than on an alternative shot without the flash. At a friend's house, spotted them and set them up in a pleasing (to me) composition - no chance for indirect, etc. It's fun to do without too much fuss.

The red is not just simply I think. One question: was it an external flash that was used for this picture? IMHO an indirect flash would have helped here.
