Mark Maclean

Wat Prasrisanphet
by Mark Maclean

Ayutthaya, Thailand

This was a 25 sec exposure - and it's still dark! Shows you how it really felt at the time - spooky! See if you can see the photographer's ghost!

Hi All,

there is a bit of a story to this one. On the right you will see the photographer's ghost!! It's kinda hard to make out but it's there if you look close enough. I went to take a few night time shots of this temple and as I was setting up the lights went out. I was about to pack up again and then realised that, although it seemed to be black, there was a little light form the market behind me. 25 sec later, this shot popped up. I didn't even know the signpost was there until I got home and downloaded. There's another darker and spookier one here...

Wow - that is a fantastic scene - and I love the perspective - makes me feel like I am teetering on my heels looking up! I also like the subtle light of the sky and the well lit temples in the foreground. Would you like to tell us a little bit about this place and the name of the ghost who took this picture :)? ~ gaurav
