Thank you!

My parents were also very happy with the photo :)

That's a cute pup, Patty, and I lke how you converted this to B&W. Effective perspective. Good suggestions too. (*) I would probably be inclined to crop up to about the metal buckle, but I think it honestly works well this way too. MFC

I quite like the perspective and crop in this, Patty. Nice shot! Helen

The photo-office printed this imiage in color out. It's a christmas present from me for my parents :) I hope they are happy with it!

There are never to many suggestions. You can critisize my pic's as many as you want.

And maybe, when I've got the time I'll try if I can make the background less sharp.

What do you think of more cropping?

Patty, making the background less sharp is no big deal; the photo looks great as is. You cropped a little of the background off too - good move. I almost suggested doing the cropping but didn't want to suggest too much :) I really like this image in black and white and you did a nice job of converting it.

Yes, B&W is definetly good :)
I can;t make the background less shapr, I'm just not good enough with GIMP to do that. I have to exercise a little bit more for that...

Thank you bottles.

The spots on her face is Brinta, that's porridge. I tried to remove the spots, but If I do, you can see it.
Turning it to B&W is maybe a really good idea.

I'm going to hobby a little bit more on the photo with GIMP.

Patty, nice shot and what a cute dog! You sure got perfect focus and I really like your composition too. •Actually, I can't see where many changes are needed, like I say, it's a very nice image just as it it. If you feel like playing with a few changes, here's what I would try... I think I'd try converting the image to black and white. There isn't much color anyway and what color there is probably distracts more than it adds. Also, there appears to be a slight blue tint to the black dog. Maybe remove the little white spots on Bengel's face and blur the background a tad too. By the way, what are the white spots, paint?
