Up Through the Ages

This is the Celsus Library in the ancient city of Ephesus, built in around A.D. 114. It used to contain some 12,000 scrolls but now is the prime ruin in Ephesus. For other views see http://www.pbase.com/helenpb/image/51589913 and following three pictures.

Wow Helen! You were onto this topic weeks ago! Great use of 17mm to give us a great view of all the fine details in this ancient library. Excellent clarity and as Shu mentioned, the sky adds even more dimension.
