Congratulations! The H1's image stabilizer works pretty well, IMO, although my D70's 24-120 VR allows me far slower exposure times. It's only about $440 :-)! Helen

Thanks for the comments. Helen, yes I got an H1 - I haven't decided if I want to get a DSLR, but I figure I'll never be able to afford an image-stabilized long zoom lens :)

Lovely scene, Katherine. I really like the warming effect that low sun angle has on the houses - and even on the snow! A perfect scene for a postcard. Love your choice of font and color, too..
