Reflected glory...

A miniscule, really tiny, tacky plastic bead is transformed into something beautiful with a Raynox snap on close up lens. My first attempt with add on lens of any kind Truly Cinderella time !! The text was added as an afterthought.

I've already mentioned in the main challenge thread how I like your colors in this image. The pink and green combination just jump at you. The cirlce and curve elements of the composition make the image really pleasing to look at. I'm glad you're able to submit this beautiful image. And don't worry about winning as you can expect a lot of help from others if that eventuality happens :)

The first thing that stikes someone viewing your card, is the color combination... very pleasing to the eye. Your text placement is nice as well. Nice work and congrats on your 10th image with the camera! :-)

Thanks. This is only my tenth photo with this camera and almost the first time I used manual mode and definitely the first time I ever used an add on lens in my life.
So I kind of surprised myself.
The 'reflected glory' is also a pun. Since this capture would not have come about were it not for AAK and R2D2 and Mike over at Sony talk all generously sharing their expertise and advice with a complete newbie like me.
My boyfriend uploaded the images for me here. I could not manage it. Please don't let me win - it's Christmas soon and I have a house full of visitors needing to be fed and I wouldn't have the first clue how to organise a challenge :) Christmas dinner for twenty - yes. -a photo challenge - no ;)
