Yuri, I really like the beautiful shades of color here...and the symmetry of composition. Nice sense of texture. Well taken. MFC

Nice work, Yuri. Just goes to show that you have photographic skills that go beyond taking portraits of beautiful women ;-)

Spasibo for your comments.
This shot was made in Siberia, Shushenskoye (place where Lenin was in exile) at local museum of XVIII-XIX century life.
Shutters are highlited due to many hands touches I think...
I've made some things in PS...
The pine tree wood was used for such a house and larch at the foundation....

Yuri - I second Debs question - I would love to find out some more about this building. The structure seems to be both sturdy and elegant at the same time. There is almost a glow/smoky feel to the structure and I can't tell what is causing it. Was this taken at dusk? Very nicely captured ~gk

That's really beautiful wood - I love the smooth texture, and also the color and lighting!

Yuri, my favorite component of this image is the symmetry, I also like that the shutters have a highlighted look to them. The overall lighting is superb. Can you tell us a little about this building?---Deb
