Still Lifes and flowers really go hand-in-hand. This is a lovely composition of red rose at the base of a vase. Nice creation.

Gorgeous! Reds are so beautiful and rich in details. This is something my f717 can only dream of… Nice use of DOF and moreover, the background provides a little story (We understand this is the vase from where the rose was pulled off).
Because of pictures like this, I have made my decision this week and I will move to the DSLR world this spring.
