Sparkling Violets

I was sitting in my newspaper's layout section one afternoon waiting to check pages before they went to the printing plant when I noticed the editor in chief's violets on the windowsill. I don't think the picture does them justice, but they were sparkling beautifully in the sun, so I ran for my camera (instead of checking pages, LOL).

I also appreciate the sparkles. my azaleas, especially the white ones, exhibit this property and it's just so lovely... it makes you look twice. Nice, Helen, thanks for sharing these little beauties.

African Violets are one of my favorite indoor plants because they're relatively easy to maintain and their blooms are a pleasure to look at. I like how you composed these beauties.
