defenestration: a throwing of a person or thing out of a window

Brian Goggin's defenestration installation, a site-specific sculpture, was rigged in 1997 to two sides of a currently empty 3-story building at 6th and Howard Street in San Francisco. I still laugh each time I pass the building.
