Harbour Bridge at Dusk
by redfive

Sydney, Australia

This is a view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Australia. You can see the entrance to Luna Park all lit up underneath.

Shot handheld, just levels in post.

I think this image could be a lot better, but I don't have the post production skills yet.

The noise and the saturated colours work well together here I think. Interesting angle too.

Very dynamic image and I like the angle of the shot. As the previous comment mentions, a run through a noise filter would clean up some of the grain - unless, of course, you want the grainy effect - in which case the pic is perfect the way it is...

You got a fantastic perspective here. I like a lot the concept of the image. One way you could improve it would be removing part of the color grain in the sky. I personally don't mind to see grain in images, but I like when it looks like film grain, not digital grain. The best (an easy) way to eliminate the color grain will be using Noise Ninja or Neat Image ...

Again great composition/perspective in this image.

Miguel.

i like the composition and angle you chose here. it definitely keeps me engaged. the colors are quite nice, too. i think you see already how a tripod and longer exposure would give you an even stronger image, i hope you can get back to this spot and try! well done. -- andy
