A very lush shot, Bill. Sharp detail mixed with soft deep tones. I also enjoyed reading about the location. -Michael Puff

I went back to the Glen today and "pruned" a couple branches for a better view of the Falls. So I just replaced photo with the new one! Bill

Oh, wow, Bill! How fortunate for you to have access to this incredible scene and then capture it so beautifully. The entire tree must be awe-inspiring, as well. Keep up the good work.---Deb

Here is some info on the Glen. As of right now all the Land has been bought by developers, with the stipulation that the Glen is given to a non profit such as Waterman Conservation to keep it from being developed! That is a "Good Thing"!!! Now will it be accessible to the publics in the future? Who knows?

A beautiful, natural portal, Bill...good eye and a nice shot. I agree with Irish_eye in imagining a land of "little people". Where is this? MFC

One shot :-)

Bill, you did a great job with this image. It is so well exposed and so perfect for the challenge. I wonder if you took two different images to get a broader dynamic range?. Both the arc and the waterfall are perfectly exposed and maintain lots of sharpness.

Very nice image indeed.

Nature never ceases to amaze!! What a great portal and view. This is Hobbit land..what roots! You have found that wondrous little spot where I am sure many creatures congregate and commune. I can hear the rushing and quiet..Great find... and well taken. irish_eye
