Major League Symmetry by Keith T.*

Symmetry about the home plate-second base axis at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, NY
I liked how the curve of the dirt describes an almost perfect parabola in this shot.

Mike - of course it was the yanks vs. the red sox! i have some good snaps of pedro martinez as well but unfortunately i was closer to the cheap seats than the luxury boxes. I just saw this view as a perfect challenge entry with one player on each side of the axis as well as the pattern in the outfield (see my entry in the exhibition gallery). Thanks for noticing! regards...Keith

Good idea, Keith. I like the simplicity, the white contrast... and the way you composed/cropped this. Well seen...a number of symmetrical elements here. Who were they playing? :) MFC
