Thank you both. Mike, this is from an old abandoned mine site above the Little Blackfoot River west of Helena, MT. The discharge is an interesting color, but most likely acidic and high in mineral content. Probably pretty nasty stuff anyways. It was flowing out of an old mine adit, down this short spur road, and directly into a small creek that flows into the Little Blackfoot. The orange truck in the other picture is at an even larger mine further up the same tributary. Melanie
