Thanks all - actually, if I had had some freedom to recompose, I would have done something slightly different, but I wasn't about to rearrange the plate. :-) I'm actually surprised this came out as well as it did considering the shooting conditions (w/ flash, handheld, in a dark room). -Ed Hahn

Beautiful colors and nice repeating pattern here, Ed...effective perspective, good lighting/exposure, and clear textural detail. A nice subject choice that's well-captured. (*) I like this completely "as is". If I had to "nit pick or die", I'd consider cloning in a tiny bit of colorful detail from another sushi piece that would look natural in the upper right corner where it's a bit darker. I'm almost embarrassed suggesting you consider this...it's such a nice shot; but the darker corner spot catches my eye a tad. MFC
