Sycamore

The bark of the sycamore tree is unable to stretch as the tree grows,
so it cracks and peels, leaving white and light green patches.

Beautiful textural detail with just the right lighting. The diagonal composition, blue background contrast, and framing really help set it off too. Nice shot, Bev. (*) I like it "as is". MFC

Beautiful capture Bev - the blue sky really sets off the colors of the bark. Well done!

Bev,
What a great image! The background colors are so striking against the rich textures of the bark. I like the way it appears as a semi-abstract. Fine work! Roberta
