Thank you for all your comments, guys-- they mean a great deal. Mike, it's so funny that you said "I wish I knew how to do this kind of thing," because I have been trying so hard to develop the kind of eye that seems to come so naturally to you and so many of the others who frequent these challenges and the STF forum. I have been working with "found" images for years and years, so I know what to do with them *after* the fact. My intent is to go back to doing more of this kind of thing with my own photos. In the meantime, taking a pure photograph which stands on it's own merit, seeing the composition beforehand, has me driven. This still eludes me more often than not, but it's all good. Nancy, I really like your creation here...nice design, tones, and exposure. Good contrast in background color and DOF. I like the feeling of motion I get here too... even though there really isn't any. Nice piece of photo art. MFC
