Slobster?? I like that! Helen

I thought cross between shrimp and lobster = slobster ? LOL Thank you Helen, warm regards... Mark J. Great shot !!!

Good guess, Ann, but its body really looks like that of a lobster to me (without the claws, as I said). But then, what do I know? I don't eat this kind of thing, just like to take pictures of it! Helen

I was going to guess a sea urchin but then I looked.... ah well. Amazing thing and great picture. Ann C.

OK, Mark, close enough. It's actually an "ebi," which translates as both shrimp and lobster. Personally I think it looks like a lobster and would call it that, except that it doesn't have big claws.

Ok... maybe fish was not close enough? How about a sea life creature ? Warmer now ?

I wouldn't exactly call it a fish... But yes, it is beautiful, isn't it? In a bizarre sort of way! Helen

Macro of a fish ? If I'm correct, it's a beautiful fish :-)
