Arvin,
This is a stunning shot. I love the curve of the shawl and the dark contrast of the background. It's a really wonderful image and it provokes a lot of thought. Very fine work! Roberta

Ann, as I said before, I am just blown away at your Dad's accomplishment. A Nobel prize winner. Just incredible. And Arvin, if I was voting, this image would be in my top few. It really is a wonderful meaningful shot. -johnebones

I love this one Arvin. There is a sensual curve to the colorful scarf that really works well in this.

Johnebones, dad's name and date were on the monument but they did not mention him in the ceremony. There were 30 Nobel Prize winners there and they didn't mention their names either. One of them was a speaker during the ceremony. The rest were seated in the audience. We spoke to one, Leon Ledderman, who remembered my dad and had worked with him.

Beautiful image. I really like this composition. Did the ceremony recognize the contribution of Edwin McMillan ? -johnebones
