Say 'Aaahh!'

Okinawa, Japan

Well, I'm sure Mark J. will say, "I knew you would enter a fish picture," so here it is. Most of my favorites have been entered before, but I had sort of forgotten about this one. The colors of the fish in Okinawa are truly incredible -- for an idea of the range, see http://www.pbase.com/helenpb/colors_of_okinawan_cuisine

Helen,
Great shot!! The colors are so pure and striking. I love the unique subject. Roberta

Nice job, Helen! Good thing you had your camera with you. These colors are more associated with coral fish than fish that you and I would eat!

Helen, when I think of the subject of color, I immediately think of bright colors. Any of your Okinawan fish photos would have been perfect for this subject. It is a truly wonderful series. If I ever go to Okinawa, I'll be sure to visit at least one fish market! Lynn Towns

I KNEW you would enter a fish picture. LOL (sorry, I had to do it, Helen :-) I really like this one of your series. I love how the fishes' mouth is one BIG gaping hole and I like how you comoposed the image. Nice work as usual, Helen. Mark J
