Thanks Melanie. You know those strings of christmas lights which you can make blink in different ways? Well, it's a set of 100 of those, set at the slowest setting so the colors slowly change. Anyway, I took a three coathangers, and stretched them out to be square, and attached them together at the corners to be like a line drawing outline of a cube... hope this description makes sense. I wrapped all the lights around that to make a blob of lights and turned them on slow change mode. Set the F717 to 30s exposure, stayed as still as I could and rotated the lights around my head... switching hands hald way through. The switch caused me to shift a bit and I ended up compressing my face a bit ;-)
