Wow, MFC! What a beauty! This shot certainly is inviting to those who've never been here and those who are thinking about returning, like Katherine.---Deb

I grew up in Lexington, and my mom and three of my brothers live here. I come back a couple times a year. This is first time I've had my sony camera, and the first time I've taken pictures of the horse farms.

Katherine, we could have said "Hi" in person...I live about an hour away...hope you enjoyed the area...funny how you were in the very same spot :) MFC

Beautiful picture - I could have used that map -I've been in Lexington all week. I found Manchester farm and got a picture from the same spot your one from the architecture challenge was taken. Your pictures are better, though.

MUCH better in colorvision. lol Also, I was unaware that the UK (United Kingdom) was in such close proximity to Kentucky? LOL Nice work, Mike! Mark J

Mark, that's something I wondered about too ...I'll repost & see if it looks better :) BTW, the color scheme will reflect the University of Kentucky's colors of blue and white. UK is located within the heart of "horse country". MFC

Nice idea posting a map cover, MFC. I must say though, with all the lush green hills in Kentucky, I would think a color image would go alot further in catching the viewers eye and encouraging a visit. If it were NYC, B & W works for me but this IS beautiful "hourse country" we are talking about here :-) Mark J
