When I walk from my appartment to the center, this must be the most striking building I come across - Its the second largest cathedral of this kind in Europe (if I remember correctly) and it stands out as one of the biggest monuments of ancient Bulgarian history.

This picture hides the 2 big golden domes that are on top - they are undergoing a full restauration at the moment and I have been told they are covered again with real gold.
