Veterans Memorial Sculpture Garden

This sculpture is dedicated to "The Greatest Generation" of WWII Veterans and this image is dedicated to my Grandfather and Great-grandfather who both served in the Navy in the Pacific, as well as all the veterans from that war. Thankyou

Great perspective and composition! Ditch the treetops... Love the top of Mt. Shasta in the corner, gives it a sense of place. Nicely done! Jim/Shutter

I like this very much! I think you chose a perfect position to photograph this from and, your composition is perfect. One gets a feeling of being overwhelmed by the massive appearance of the figures and, the cloud formations in the sky help to solidify this feeling in me. I am in agreement with Curve, that the tree tops do nothing to add to the image... criteria I use to determine what to "clone out" of my own images also. Mark J

for me personally this one is agonizingly close to being perfect... amazing shadow and light interplay... awesome point of view... superbly composed... wonderful contrast and tones... i'm sure not everyone would agree but for me, the visible bits of trees and mountain takes away from the sheer graphicness and powerful elegance of the monument... so hop onto the computer, fire up pse and remove the distracting bits... but that's just me dweasel... you don't have to... cUrVe
