This is a photo I would like to have on my wall. I think there is a lot of atmosphere there and I love the busy nature of the photo.

Sehzar,
Great shot. I suppose I can see the potential explosion in the hunched up guy, but just as easily I can see someone blocking out the world to isolate himself in his reading before he has to run of to . . . ? I guess that's part of what makes a great image - the opportunity to speculate, to see whatever we want or will.

Hi Sehzar,
This is an interesting photo. In some respects it's a very traditional b/w diner photo, but as Cindy mentioned, the center back makes me uncomfortable. But unlike Cindy, I think that adds to the character and mood to this. Kind of like I'm expecting something bad to happen. I think it would be interesting to add some grain to this and maybe make it a little gloomier and see how if the developing would better match the composition? Look out for that guy in the middle, I'm expecting him to go crazy at any moment... ;-)
Really interesting scene you captured here. Seems like nothing going on but intriguing in that a lot is there to look at. The closest back in the center foreground is a little disturbing - makes me want to backup or move over a little to look at the rest of the shot. Overall, interesting to look at and excellent exposure in a difficult lighting situation. Monochrome is the way to go with this one too. Good work, Cindy
