very effective, shadow plays an important role thanks to your original crop. Good image. Willem

Hey Zippo, nice shot! Your choice of composition / croppoing is excellent. I love the birds webbed feet, located in upper thirds and the shadow in the lower thirds. The reflection was a bonus as well. In addtion, I like the rocks (ooops, sand :-) as a contrast in texture. Mark J

Wonderful composition. A reflection and a shadow all in one shot. Great job!

I have to add...good "eye" to crop it like this for the theme...very effective visually. MFC

Thank you! I didn't compose it like this when I was shooting. Obviously, I was shooting the bird, and this is a crop. Yes, the lower outline is a reflection. These nice legs belong to this beauty. bbzippo.

I really like it, bbzippo...simple and interesting. Is the lower "bird outline" a reflection on wet surface?...or a type of effect? MFC
