A beautiful image, Katherine! It looks very inviting & I like your treatment. If I bring the marshmallows, can I come sit by your hearth? -- Karen

I can do seasonal, and occasionally I can do beautiful, but you can do both together, so effortlessly.

This is a wonderful hearth...so cozy and warm. It truly gives me the feeling that this is the center of family life within the household. I love how you composed/cropped this..and the treatment applied to the outside of the frame. The horse picture, the decorated mantle, the chicken, the burning logs...they all add to the great ambience. I think I'll just have to take a seat and enjoy the good feelings here for a bit. Great idea, Katherine...well taken and presented! MFC
