The colors really stand out onthe stone pillars and I love the clear structure in this shot!

Hi Mike, yes, that sounds like a pretty interesting proposition, so please be my guest! These are actually a row of columns that were almost impossible to capture short of standing up on the metal fence surrounding the Treasury building; I decided that wouldn't go over too well with the guards out front so had to settle for something less than I had envisioned. I even went back for a second attempt, but I'm just too short to get the angle I needed.

I like your perspective, Helen...and the repeating elements. Again, nice color contrast here...and nice contrast of the bows/garland against the drab, concrete structure. Well seen and taken! MFC
I can also envision turning this on its' side, cropping out the tree view, and creating an unusual Christmas card from this image...can I give it a try? MFC
