3rd Place
On The Road Again
by Franky2005 and Willvan

My first approach on the topic and I think I will try a few more of this kind. :-)

Update: Bill kindly did a great job on cloning out a distracting part and thus I have replaced the original entry, which now can be found in the demo.

Sony DSC-V3
1s f/5.0 at 7.0mm iso400 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Frank, I like the sense of motion here and the grainy feel to the scene...good idea and well done. Photo Bug

Very cool idea - I love the sense of speed!

In addition I can of course also offer to maximise your effort for the next challenge! Your choice! ;-)

Bill, I strongly disagree to remove your name. Your contribution is important for the pic. In case we win, I promise to limit your effort to the minimum! :-)

This is really quite humorous and I have been chuckling to myself. It was not my intention nor do I deserve any credit for my small contribution to Frans's excellent entry but Frank has kindly (I think) included my name to indicate that this is a collaborative effort. So does this mean that if Frank's entry wins, I get the honour of co-hosting the next Challenge? What a prize! Very clever Frank (LOL) and I was purposely avoiding entries in the Eligible category. Seriously, while I would gladly help with hosting, this is your entry Frank, you deserve all the credit and my name should be removed.

Good thinking Frank. It is more a movie than a photo when you think about it.I like the life flashes by you effect.

Bill, I really like it and took the freedom to replace the original version. Thanks a lot! Frank

Thanks Frank. I put a copy in the Demo folder here:http://www.pbase.com/image/106837017
Feel free to use it but please do not feel obligated to do so. This is just a personal preference on my part. Bill

Bill, I would be very happy to see your work! Thanks, Frank

Frank, I really like this shot and particularly the grainy (noisy) treatment which gives a great effect to the blur of motion. Must admit that I find the blue in the upper left slightly distracting and I had a go at cloning it out. I can put it in the Demo folder if you are interested or you may prefer to do it yourself....or not at all. Great shot.
