You don't need to apologize :-).
The picture itself has an artificial and non-real appearance because of strong PP.
And halo highlights the effect of editing what prevents this picture - OMO - to become perfect..

Thanks everyone. The software Mr. Frank refers to is Topaz Adjust, a little package which can do a lot of fun things if used judiciously. ;)
