This was the same storm that totally obliterated the town of Hallam with a mile-wide tornado
25 miles to the south.
The camera was located between floors of a downtown parking garage to keep from getting wet.
I used bulb mode with a remote and tripod, ending each exposure after a bright strike or after
I felt too much time had passed and the sky would be washed out from within-cloud flashes.
As a result there is some variation in the brightness of the buildings.
Now that I shoot RAW, ACR Auto settings tend to normalize the exposures so it is the apparent
ISO noise that differs from one shot to the next, rather than the exposure/brightness.
I was still shooting JPG at this point so it only wasted a couple seconds to write to the CF card,
but I still missed about half the strikes.
