Rootworm Beetle, Diabrotica arcuata (Galerucinae)

Bellavista Cloud Forest Reserve, Prov. Pichincha, Ecuador

Diabrotica is a primarily Neotropical genus containing more than 300 species. A few are well-known as pests, but the majority (members of the fuscata group) are poorly known.
