Assassin Bugs, Zelurus spinidorsis (Reduviidae: Reduviinae)

Yasuní National Park, Prov. Orellana, Ecuador

These large (2.5 cm) reduviids are mimics of the tarantula hawk wasps which frequent sandy habitats.
