Oh, no...it's not what you think! (Took me awhile to figure out, LOL.) But not in a grave yard! We were struck by how strange it was amid all the fancy marble and granite to find a gaily painted wooden cross. It's not terribly recent, either, so I don't think the cross is meant to be temporary. It is way off in the far southeastern corner of the cemetery, hence we had to trek out to pay a visit to the nonconformist resident. Maybe someday it will be replaced with a stone, especially if another member of the family is intending to end up there.
