On the right, zebra grass: Miscanthus sinensis "Zebrinus."
On the left: porcupine grass: Miscanthus sinensis "Strictus."
Much easier to tell them apart next to one another. The zebra
grass blades fall in a graceful arc, but the porcupine grows
straighter and taller.
