Crescent City : Northern California : Light House

Northern California

This is a stitch I never did because I was afraid of all the water and waves. It was a 300mm shot and was a 5X2 of a very active ocean.

This is a shot of the Crescent City lighthouse from some distance. The stitch, however, went right together.

I liked it. And it is about 50MP:-)

There is 1/3 ND Grad filter for the top half and that is all. The lighthouse is an old building that is far from square. As it is adjusted now, the weather vane mast is perfectly vertical.

nice.
contrast enhancement in the background?
the lighthouse looks to be tilted. maybe it's not, but that's the way it looks.

i was surprised myself when i did a stitch showing the monterey coast. the waves looked seamless.

Thanks for the kind comments. As for weathering out a storm on that lone rock... It would be quite a ride.
