This is a simple stitch I did with the 45mm T/S-E lens (GET THIS LENS!!!) that I almost did not post. It is simple in composition but I like the juxtaposition of the stark Yellow tailings, the detailed red/brown of the weathered wood and the deep blue sky. This is taken from about 12,000 feet and it is surprising the shear number of old abandoned mines at these altitudes.
Many are a hundred years old and it makes you wonder how they hauled all the the wood and steel track to this altitude. It is not like the roads are great.
