M16 the Eagle Nebula, taken in warm humid conditions, at least for SoCal. Taken with a modified Digital Rebel, 19 images of 6 minutes each at ISO400 with an IDAS LPS filter, uncropped taken at prime focus with no reducer or flattener through a Vixen VC200L, 8" telescope, f9 at 1800mm focal length. Focus was obtained using a prototype motorized focuser and focused and acquired in DSLRFocus. Images stacked and processed in Imagesplus V2.75Beta2. Temps were in the mid 70's and humidity was around 75% reaching 85%. Patchy thin clouds at times.
