The Eagle and the Swan

Anza, CA

This widefield shot contains M16 the Eagle Nebula near the top and near the bottom is M17 the Swan Nebula. Taken with a modified digital rebel with a 0.7x reducer through an Orion 80mmEd. This shot is 12 x 6 min ISO 400 shots combined and edited in ImagesPlus V2.75 Beta 2.

Thanks, yes another telescope was used to guide the mount during the long exposure. I used a Borg 77mm achromat with a meade LPI and guidedog software to provide the guiding to the G-11 mount.

Good shot. I am wondering if you used the other telescope for guiding since each exposure is 6 minutes. Again, wonderful shot.
