DIANE

this is my fourth assignment for class...
the assignment was to take a portrait from a magazine
and try to figure out the lighting to recreate it.
Unfortunately you don't have the benefit of the ad to
compare this to so I guess you can't tell me whether I
was successful or not.

For what its worth... I wasn't terribly successful
recreating it but I like the photo I got. Hopefully
the person who modeled for it will like it as well.

Excellent portrait Liza. I envy you that class. I don't know a thing about studio lighting or "formal" portraiture!

I am sure she will.

Nice job on this Liza! Was the light coming from her left? It's hard to tell since it's so even-nice pose but the one little thing that I'm not sure belongs is the thumb in the lower left? She's a beautiful girl and I'll bet loves this. How'd you do it?

I love the way the curve of her arm echoes the curve of her hair.

This is excellent. The tonal range is very nice and such crisp focus. Well done.
