Just felt like playing with this image and this is a treatment
that has always intrigued me. I don't think it enhanced the
image any but it was fun to try out.

I like the sharp and jagged look to this. It's a good treatment for this.

Actually this is a nice presentation of your subject. The effect heightens the sense of brittle cold, and the linear elements of the composition are nicely paralleled in the straight edge fragments.
