Tomnaverie Stars

Tomnaverie, Aberdeenshire

Twiddling my thumbs during 30min+ startrail exposures, I took some starry shots of the Tomnaverie stone circle recumbent stone.
It looks more like there is a snowstorm going on, but it was a very clear starry night.
The lighting on the stones is courtesy of my LED headlight torch thingy being used to "paint" in some fill-light.

Very impressive. It really conveys a sense of awe at the wonders of nature.

You have captured some great detail in both the foreground and the sky! :)
