Tried to time getting to the top of the Eye just after the sun slipped below the horizon,
but got it wrong by about 5 minutes, so the sky is a bit blown out and it ended up being
a tricky exposure as I didn't have my grads to hand!! Ah well, just have to go back another time
and try again!

Nikon D80 ,Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM
1/80s f/6.3 at 10.0mm iso400 full exif

I love how the detail of the city is visible right to the horizon.

A tricky exposure, but well handled none the less, and you have excellent detail in the eye.
