St Rules

St Andrews, Fife

They reckon that there has probably been a religious
community located on this site since around 732AD.
This is the implausibly high tower of St Rules church
dating from 1130AD, in front of the remaining gables
of St Andrews Cathedral which was consecrated in 1318.
